Rebecca Clark has been performing her one woman show, “Hello, Gorgeous”, a musical tribute to Barbra Streisand to rave reviews and standing-room-only audiences for nearly a decade.
Ms. Clark has starred and toured with the Bob Hope USO shows. She has performed at the Aladdin hotel in Las Vegas, the Bellagio in Las Vegas, the Cannes music festival in France, the Ritz Carlton in Rancho Mirage, Spago’s in Beverly Hills, and other top venues across the world including, Puerto Rico, and Europe.
Ms. Clark performed in an off-Broadway production with Oscar recipient Geraldine Fitzgerald. She has also performed in five other light opera theatre productions in New York. She starred in the highly acclaimed musical, “DIVAS”. She performed side-by-side with legendary crooner Peter Marshal and “Divas on Broadway” at the Annenberg Theater in Palm Springs, California, and was the opening act for comedian “David Brenner” and others.
Ms Clark has performed with Stars in Concert in Berlin, and has performed as guest artist (as Rebecca Clark) with such famous artists as Keely Smith, Carol Connor, Jimmy Osmond, Roy Clark, Mickey Gilley, Jack Jones, Jim Stanford, and Trini Lopez, just to name a few.
Ms. Clark was born in Brooklyn, New York, and now makes her home in beautiful Palm Springs, California. She studied voice at the prestigious Fred Astaire Musical Theatre in Manhattan.
Between contracts, Ms. Clark performs locally for many upscale country clubs and is highly sought-after by local charities to fill special events.
She has performed with the Las Vegas owned “Legends in Concert” as Barbra Streisand. Audiences are in awe of the incredible performance that is without any audio manipulation. Even the most ardent Barbra fan has difficulty telling the two performers apart. When in character, costume, and makeup, it’s as close to Barbra Streisand as most audiences will ever come.
An incredible talent in her own right, Ms. Clark has released a music video of an old classic standard called “The Nearness of You”. This lovely rendition has been played on a few radio stations, the first being KWXY, in her hometown of Palm Springs.
This rare and incredibly talented performer is internationally known for her music and gift at charming audiences, and leaving her fans breathless.
